NATURAL DERMOCOSMETICS FROM ASIAN PLANTS

WHY AYURVEDIC COSMETICS? We live in times when our skin is increasingly exposed to harmful atmospheric factors, as a result of which we are increasingly dealing with substances that cause allergies or skin diseases. We then begin to search for a product that will work comprehensively, helping us not only to solve the skin problems we are currently struggling with, but also to help us keep our skin in great condition every day. To meet your expectations, we decided to create a series of natural dermocosmetics. using ingredients known and appreciated in Asian countries. When creating our new Bio Ayurveda series , we focused on ensuring that our natural dermocosmetics were created strictly according to original, Ayurvedic recipes, which are also highly effective in treating specific skin problems. COSMETICS WITH SAFFRON The Bio Ayurveda series is based on two plants that have been valued in Asian countries for centuries, where they are used in cooking, herbal medicine and in beauty rituals. We are talking about saffron and turmeric . Saffron is the most expensive spice in the world, because to obtain one kilogram of saffron, you need to collect 150 to 200 thousand flowers in the early morning hours, when saffron flowers - crocuses - open and the center is clearly visible. Already in ancient times, Asians used it as a dye when dyeing fabrics, a noble spice as well as for beauty and medicine purposes. Its properties are extraordinary, in ancient times it was used as a medicine for asthma, cramps or depression. It was also considered an aphrodisiac. In cosmetology, it was most widely used in masks due to its anti-inflammatory and skin lightening properties. Additionally, saffron improves skin tone, has a rejuvenating and antibacterial effect, speeds up the healing of small wounds and improves circulation. All this makes it ideal for treating discolorations, problems with blood vessels and acne marks. COSMETICS WITH TURMERIC Turmeric is a spice that has long been used in traditional Far Eastern medicine, including Ayurveda. In India and Indonesia, it is considered a sacred plant, and its properties were described in medical books over 5 thousand years ago. Once used as a means of supporting liver function, soothing stomach ailments and in the treatment of respiratory diseases and inflammations. In the cosmetics industry, it is mainly used as a dye, and in perfumery as an ingredient in oriental perfumes. It is also used in beauty treatments, because it has unique antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects. Turmeric regulates the functioning of the sebaceous glands, lightens discolorations and reduces inflammation. The high concentration of active substances contained in our Bio Ayurveda series guarantees effectiveness, all in accordance with natural care.

DERMOCOSMETICS OR NATURAL DERMOCOSMETICS

COSMETICS FROM THE PHARMACY Products called dermocosmetics are becoming increasingly popular on the cosmetics market. How do they differ from traditional cosmetics available in drugstores? Is there a division into commonly known dermocosmetics and natural dermocosmetics ? We will try to explain it. According to the law in force in Poland, we do not have a specific definition of dermocosmetics, let alone natural dermocosmetics. Dermocosmetics are mainly associated with products sold in the pharmacy, which is why they evoke better associations among customers, which is why they are considered much more effective than regular cosmetics. This is a so-called marketing ploy, because many of the products offered in the pharmacy are not much different from those available on the shelves of traditional drugstores, and the biggest difference is usually the price. NATURAL DERMOCOSMETICS Dermocosmetics, thanks to their catchy name and marketing, inspire trust among consumers, but the compositions of these products are not necessarily better than other cosmetics. So how do natural dermocosmetics differ from those commonly available in pharmacies? First of all, the best natural cosmetics should have really good compositions. Plants should come from controlled-quality and ecological crops. Only such natural dermocosmetics enjoy the greatest trust among consumers, who evaluate products very rigorously. To achieve this effect, the raw materials used in the production of the cosmetic should be at least 95% of natural origin and processed in an environmentally friendly way. The products cannot contain GMOs (they cannot come from genetically modified plants and animals), chemical ingredients such as parabens, phenoxyethanol, nanoparticles, PEGs, paraffin, mineral oil, artificial coloring ingredients. Even the packaging should be biodegradable and recyclable. DERMOCOSMETICS AND AYURVEDA With the advancement of the chemical industry, manufacturers have decided to move away from natural solutions, because they are much more expensive. That is why our drugstores and pharmacies are literally flooded with cosmetics full of chemicals. If we were to move away from the entire marketing entourage and focus solely on the composition of cosmetics, it would turn out that most of the available products have little in common with nature. For centuries, people have used nature in herbal medicine and in beauty care. They have discovered new properties of plants, herbs and oils, thanks to which they were able to create potions that not only heal, but also improve beauty. Ayurveda as a medical system, it still uses proven recipes, from which we also draw our inspiration. Thanks to them, we can create natural cosmetics with better effectiveness than ordinary ones dermocosmetics . This is how we created natural dermocosmetics .

WHAT ARE NATURAL DERMOCOSMETICS

WHAT ARE DERMOCOSMETICS? Many people have certainly encountered this term more than once, but they do not fully understand what makes dermocosmetics stand out from the multitude of facial, body or hair care products available on the market. Dermocosmetics are a special group of preparations classified between medicinal products and cosmetics. They do not contain any substances that could cause allergies, so the risk of allergic reactions or irritations with dermocosmetics is minimal. They have not only care but also healing effects. Their main task is to help treat various skin problems, although there are no contraindications to using them on healthy skin, for preventive purposes or as a strengthening treatment. Dermocosmetics should be of particular interest to people struggling with the problem of notoriously dry and dehydrated skin, with weak blood vessels, discolorations or recurring inflammations. OUR SERIES OF NATURAL DERMOCOSMETICS Orientana was the first company on the European market to create a unique series of natural dermocosmetics using the power of Asian plants and their wonderful properties. Our inspiration was Ayurveda, a philosophy of life and the oldest documented medical system created in India 5 thousand years ago, which in the late 70s was recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a concept of health and therapy. The basis of Ayurvedic cosmetics is the principle that what we put on our body we should also be able to eat. Cosmetics based on Ayurveda do not harm the body, are natural and perfectly support skin regeneration. Our offer includes 4 new products - natural dermocosmetics - dedicated to specific skin problems, containing unique active ingredients with confirmed healing effects. SAFFRON AND TURMERIC The Bio Ayurveda series is based on two extraordinary plants, saffron (Kumkumadi) and turmeric (Turmeric), which are considered the most valuable ingredients in the whole of Ayurveda. We have divided natural dermocosmetics into two lines, each consisting of two mutually complementary products. A rich cream with a rich consistency will perfectly nourish the skin, and Hydrotherapy with a thick gel consistency will work great as a complement to therapy or as a stand-alone treatment, depending on whether you decide to apply it locally or to the entire face. Natural dermocosmetics will be a great alternative for people looking for cosmetics that combine the effectiveness of dermocosmetics available in pharmacies with natural cosmetics created from the best natural raw materials available on the market.

THE MAGIC OF AYURVEDIC HERBS FROM KITCHEN TO COSMETICS

HERBS FROM AYURVEDA Ayurveda as an unconventional medicine and a kind of philosophical trend, is based on the use of many types of herbs growing in Asia. For thousands of years, the properties of herbs and plants have been studied, and knowledge about their effects has been passed down through generations, which have further developed knowledge about their applications. A large part of these plants is currently associated mainly with spices, and examples of this include turmeric , cinnamon or ginger . Few people know, however, that these ingredients are used in the production of natural cosmetics. The properties of the above-mentioned cinnamon have found supporters already in ancient Egypt, among the pharaohs and the highest caste, because it supports circulation, which has a positive effect on the skin firming process. Cinnamon is also a natural UV filter, and cinnamon oil is used for skin inflammation. Unlike its predecessor, the origin ginger is not exactly known, but most theories say that ginger was cultivated in China and then traded in India. The miraculous properties of ginger could be discussed for a very long time, because it has a very wide spectrum of action - antibacterial, antiviral and supporting weight loss. Another representative of the rich Ayurvedic family is sandalwood. Apart from its cosmetic use, sandalwood wood is used in the Far East as a material from which figurines and toys are carved. Sandalwood oil can effectively relieve pain in the temples, while the paste made from this tree is ideal for bites, is great for cleansing and supports healing in skin lesions. In the form of a balm applied to the skin, it has a positive effect on its smoothness and hydration. Probably due to its positive properties, sandalwood has gained the title of a sacred plant. Rosemary , which is also most often associated with meat seasoning, has found use in Ayurvedic care techniques. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-wrinkle and antibacterial properties. Lemongrass, apart from its pleasant and soothing scent, is a universal cosmetic and medical agent. It is a remedy for headaches, it also relieves fever and reduces the symptoms of colds and flu. In cosmetics, thanks to its scent, it is a component of many perfumes. In hair care, it deals with dandruff, and when applied to the skin, it helps get rid of acne thanks to its antifungal and antibacterial properties. These are just some of the extraordinary plants from the rich Arjuweda family. In our cosmetics, we use their extraordinary properties, combining traditional ways of preserving beauty with the modern effectiveness of our products.

WHAT ARE THE PRINCIPLES OF AYURVEDA IN COSMETICS?

WHAT IS AYURVEDA? Ayurveda is a unique medical system originating in India. It is based on maintaining a balance between body and spirit. In Indian Sanskrit, it means the science of life and longevity. Although its history is over 5,000 years old, it is still practiced in many Western countries. According to Ayurveda, each of us is an individual combination of three types of energy known as doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Maintaining them in balance ensures a life of health and harmony. Each of us is a unique combination of these energies, but in most people one of them dominates. The type of energy determines character, temperament, body structure and type of beauty. Ayurveda allows us to recognize the right dosha for us and provides guidance on how to act in accordance with it through a proper diet, lifestyle and care. AYURVEDIC CARE AND COSMETICS Skin care in accordance with Ayurveda consists of first properly cleansing the skin of all impurities, exfoliating dead skin, and then properly moisturizing and nourishing the skin. Ayurvedic cosmetics are based on ancient recipes, and most cosmetics are based on natural oils and butters that are enriched with selected plant ingredients. However, before we start care with Ayurvedic cosmetics, we should start by determining which dosha dominates in us. AYURVEDIC DOSHAS If energy dominates in our country Vata our skin is dry, thin and prone to wrinkles. Often dehydrated and prone to the occurrence of capillaries. When choosing the best Ayurvedic cosmetics, we should be guided by the fact that it should be properly moisturized and nourished. Cosmetics in which we will find ingredients such as: ashwagandha, brahmi or aloe will work great. If energy dominates in our country Pitta our skin is delicate, combination, prone to irritation. When choosing the best Ayurvedic cosmetics, we should be guided by the fact that they have a soothing and anti-aging effect on it. Cosmetics in which we will find ingredients such as: turmeric, mulberry, sandalwood will work great. If energy dominates in our country Kapha our skin is oily, prone to pimples and inflammation. When choosing the best Ayurvedic cosmetics, we should be guided by the fact that the skin is thoroughly cleansed and has an anti-inflammatory effect on it. Cosmetics that contain ingredients such as neem, green tea, kaolin clay will work great. Orientana uses only the best raw materials to produce Ayurvedic cosmetics. We make sure that the plant ingredients used in production come from ecologically clean regions of Asia, and a large part of the plants we use are obtained from our own crops.

WHY IS IT WORTH DYEING YOUR HAIR WITH BIO HENNA?

We select only the best Ayurvedic herbs to produce our BIO HENNA for hair . ORIENTANA BIO HENNA does not contain: – chemical colour enhancers, dyes and pigments – preservatives, aromas and fragrance additives – 3-nitro-p-Hydroxyethylaminophenol During each subsequent dyeing, BIO HENNA penetrates the hair and simultaneously creates a layer of color on its surface, which thickens and protects the hair. With subsequent applications, another layer of BIO HENNA is applied to the end parts of the hair, while the regrowth in the natural hair color is covered with BIO HENNA for the first time. If the hair color on the regrowth is significantly different from the applied BIO HENNA color, the effect achieved on the regrowth will naturally be slightly less intense than on the ends of the hair dyed for the second time. This is a completely normal phenomenon when using henna, and the specific unevenness of the color makes the hair gain a light color and a natural visual effect!
