Mango lassi: złoto Indii - Orientana

Mango Lassi: The Gold of India

Mango lassi, the famous Indian cocktail, is one of India's most important exports. It has made a career in the world comparable only to the popularity of Bollywood movies, yoga and chicken tikka masala! No wonder - it is a delicious, healthy drink that is just as good a thirst quencher as... the fire burning in your mouth after eating the most spicy Indian dishes. How to make it at home? I fell in love with mango lassi, like millions of travelers, from the very first days of my first visit to India. Thick and velvety, slightly sweet and a little salty, from the very first moments it was not only a delicious drink for me, but also the best dessert, a convenient snack during sightseeing, as well as a way to learn about local customs, recipes and... people who prepared it for me even right on the street. Exactly! Because I order it not only in cafes and restaurants, but also from carts placed right on the crazy streets of Indian cities or on the beautiful beaches there. It has never harmed me and I have never been poisoned by it, although the conditions in which it was prepared were far from acceptable from the point of view of our strict European hygiene standards. Why? It's all about time! The smaller, let's put it in quotation marks, "gastronomic establishment", the fresher the drink is! In restaurants it can wait for the customer for a few hours in the fridge, but on the street it must always be prepared on the spot: the fruit is cut and mixed in front of us, and the yogurt is fresh. The nutritional value of mango lassi is material for a serious scientific treatise. However, its health-promoting potential can be described in a few words: fruit, yogurt, exotic spices. Because mango lassi consists of only a few ingredients, but they all do wonders for the body. And the fact that they occur together has an additional positive effect on blood sugar levels! Not to mention how cleverly the original Indian mango lassi helps maintain the right level of minerals in the body. How does it work? Let me explain. Mango is a fruit full of carotene, which makes the skin radiant, makes it resistant to sunlight and... improves the color of the tan. It also has a lot of vitamins, but let's treat it as a nice bonus ;). Yogurt, as a fermented drink, supports the intestinal bacterial flora, giving it vigor and accelerating digestion, which in turn works against unwanted putrefactive bacteria. The intestines are also healed by fiber, which is rich in mango - it speeds up the passage of food content in the digestive system. Mango itself has a lot of sugar, but because it is in the company of yogurt in lassi, the whole thing has a lower glycemic index, satisfies for a long time and prevents spikes in blood glucose levels. And the secret of salt: according to some Indian recipes, lassi also contains a pinch of it - it is a great way to replenish the level of minerals, when on hot days (or after a hard workout!) we lose them with sweat. You're not going to India and want to prepare mango lassi at home? Nothing could be easier. Thanks to dozens of mango lassi, the preparation of which I observed in India, I developed a recipe that is easy to apply in Polish conditions. It tastes like in Asia! The recipe is really simple. To make mango lassi you need one mango (or two, if you want to prepare a larger quantity or you like more intense flavours), preferably ripe, 100 ml of cold mineral water and 200 ml of natural yoghurt. Peel the mango, remove the stone and cut the pulp into small pieces. Throw everything into a tall container, pour in the yoghurt and water and mix. The success lies in the details, so now pay attention: add a large pinch of ground cardamom, which will give the cocktail a characteristic flavour, and if the mango is not too ripe - also a spoonful of honey or maple syrup to sweeten. And you can already enjoy a nutritious afternoon snack or a second breakfast with an amazing taste. Or a diet dessert - cheers!

Weekendowe śniadanie? Matcha, szach i mat! - Orientana

Weekend Breakfast? Matcha, Checkmate!

I love lazy, leisurely, long weekend breakfasts. In the company of family members or friends who are early risers, sometimes still in pajamas, and always with a large jug of coffee or an infusion of my favorite herbs. And often sweet, because after all, when, if not on the weekend, can I give myself a break and... time for pancakes and fritters, crepes and muffins? This is important even in the case of my favorite pancakes and muffins with matcha, which take me only a few moments to prepare. Because they are so delicious that sometimes you have to make another batch! I couldn't decide which of these breakfasts I like more, so today I'm showing you not one, but two recipes for sweets with Japanese powdered green tea. I don't think I need to convince anyone about its health benefits - it's known all over the world as a powerful antioxidant. It contains catechins, which have antiviral and antibacterial properties, and additionally reduce the risk of atherosclerosis and lower blood glucose levels. And it has a beautiful, light green color. It's good to start the day with it; on weekdays I greet mornings with a matcha infusion, and on weekends - I enjoy it sweetly. So let's jump out of bed and rush to the kitchen! Let's start with optimistic, green pancakes with matcha. To prepare them, you need a glass or one and a half of milk (it can be plant-based), one egg, three tablespoons of oil, a tablespoon of matcha and two glasses of flour - I mix rice and millet, but regular wheat flour will also work great, and my friend even experimented with homemade buckwheat flour, made by grinding buckwheat groats, and served the pancakes in a savory version, with smoked salmon and sour cream. In my version, you can also add sugar to taste. I mix all the pancake ingredients with a mixer until a fairly thick, uniform mass is created, heavier than in the case of pancake batter. I put it in small portions with a spoon on a dry, hot pan and fry them for a minute or two on both sides. The result is tiny, round pancakes with a sponge cake consistency, which taste best with honey, because they are not too sweet on their own (although this of course depends on the amount of sugar added!). Prefer something significantly sweeter and have a bit more time? Bake breakfast muffins with matcha. Here's a good tip: first set the oven to 200 degrees - it will take longer for it to heat up than it will for you to prepare the dough! Take three ripe bananas, two eggs, a little over half a cup of spelt flour and a little over a third of a cup of oil (like I do - all by eye!), a tablespoon of matcha, a teaspoon of baking powder and half a teaspoon of baking soda. Mash the peeled bananas with a fork and mix the eggs, oil and all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the banana pulp and mix it well with the dough, then transfer the finished mixture to ten or twelve muffin tins. If the oven is already preheated, put the baking tray with the tins inside and... wait 20 minutes with the morning newspaper. That's it! After fifteen minutes, it is worth checking with a stick whether the cupcakes are ready - depending on the oven and the starting temperature of the ingredients used for the dough, the baking time may be slightly shorter or longer. Matcha cupcakes taste best with fruit juice, syrup or exotic fruit jam, but also with vanilla cheese and cardamom or honey with a distinct, sharp flavor. And green tea - and in good company, of course! You have to admit: such a breakfast feast also feeds the soul. It's like cooking, but there's time for reading and chatting with loved ones - and all in a zen atmosphere. That's how it should be on the weekend!

Smoothie z papai: smak Azji - Orientana

Papaya Smoothie: A Taste of Asia

You know it for sure: juicy, slightly sweet, with a delicate sour note, with a beautiful orange color. Papaya is a symbol of exotic delights for the palate, but also health and vitality - and it is very #instafriendly ;)! We at Orientana also love it for its amazing care properties, thanks to which it is an irreplaceable active ingredient in cosmetics. It also takes care of the skin from the inside! And although I will tell you about the (delicious!) benefits of papaya used in cooking in a moment, I will start with a short reminder of the wonders it works when applied to the skin. First of all, it contains the youth vitamins C and E. Vitamin C brightens, tightens and firms the skin, adding radiance, and E soothes, moisturizes and regenerates it. Papaya also contains folic acid, which is very necessary for women, as well as zinc, potassium and magnesium, minerals necessary for the beauty of hair, skin and nails, and strong antioxidants: lutein, lycopene and arginine. However, it is best known for its content of papain, a natural exfoliating enzyme that lightens discolorations and prevents the skin from producing excessive amounts of melanin. It is because of this extraordinary property that papaya is included in our peeling and face wash gel, as well as the brightening night essence. These cosmetics have also been enriched with other valuable ingredients, but papaya will also work solo, as an ingredient in an easy mask prepared at home: just crush it with a fork, mix it with a bit of yogurt or cottage cheese, honey or oatmeal and apply to the skin for a few to a dozen minutes. Now you can buy papaya in Poland in supermarkets in the organic version - I recommend it. Check it out! Concern for our clients, who often have sensitive skin, meant that the purpose of one of my trips to Asia was to check the conditions in which papaya, which is the raw material used in Orientana cosmetics, is grown. Good news - I was very pleased :). I was also delighted by the wealth of ways in which it can be used in the kitchen. The farmers I visited treated me to papaya served in dozens of versions: from papaya salad, which is also popular in our country, through hot and cold soups, fish and seafood marinated in papaya, papaya pancakes, to "papaya" desserts, ice creams and sorbets. A real dizziness! After returning to Poland, I immediately did two things. First, I gave Orientana the green light to use papaya in our cosmetics – I had nothing to complain about with small agricultural companies! And second… I started looking for easy-to-prepare recipes with papaya, because I missed it so much. I don't have time to cook complicated dishes (or to look for their hard-to-find ingredients in stores), so I opted for cocktails that are quick to make – and that you can take with you to work. I searched, tested and finally found it! The recipe for a papaya smoothie from the reliable Kwestia Smaku perfectly reflects my culinary memories from Asia. It's like being transported to an exotic plantation in a few minutes. You absolutely have to try it! To make a smoothie, you need half a papaya, one banana, a glass of plant milk (preferably almond-rice, but soy works great too) and a glass of coconut water. According to the recipe, the smoothie is sweetened with a spoonful of maple syrup, but I also love it with honey. Preparing the smoothie is trivial: I divide the papaya in half, peel it, remove the seeds, cut it into small pieces, throw it into a blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend for a while until the whole thing reaches the consistency of a mousse. And sometimes... I make a second portion right away, because I find it hard to stop at one. You'll see that you'll fall in love! And you can afford it, because papaya has only 44 kcal per 100 g (half as much as a banana!), and thanks to its carbohydrate content, it fills you up and gives you energy for a really long time - especially when eaten with plant milk. In addition, it speeds up metabolism, has a lot of fiber, strengthens bones and eyesight... And it contains carotene, which improves skin tone! Our sunflower oil is distinguished by its content of essential unsaturated fatty acids (EFAs) and natural vitamin E. It softens the epidermis and smooths the skin. It is non-comedogenic and does not cause blackheads. Goat milk is the only non-vegan ingredient in the mask, we get it from small sustainable goat farms. It has soothing and moisturizing properties. WHY IS IT WORTH USING NATURAL COSMETICS?

You've probably asked yourself more than once: why is it worth using natural cosmetics? What advantages do they have over other cosmetics that can be found on store shelves? Are they as effective as drugstore cosmetics? Fortunately, in today's world, consumers are starting to pay more and more attention to whether the products they buy are friendly to the skin and Mother Earth. The trend of living closer to nature is not waning, on the contrary - it is growing stronger, along with social awareness. We all understand better and better why an ecological lifestyle is so important, and therefore why it is worth using natural cosmetics. We hope that the following article will answer your questions, dispel any doubts and make you, too, become friends with nature in your everyday life. SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN EFFECT You are probably wondering whether the trend for natural ingredients goes hand in hand with science? The answer is: absolutely! Orientana cooperates with the best scientists from around the world, specializing in Asian formulas. We also have GMP, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 22716: 2007, 16128-2: 2007 certificates. However, behind these complicated formulas there is real data, proving that our cosmetics fit into the applicable regulations. Passing these complicated procedures is one of the reasons why it is worth using natural cosmetics. STRICT “NATURAL” STANDARDS – ISO 16128 Obtaining the ISO 16128 certificate is a very complex and rigorous process. This standard means that all natural ingredients used in the production of a cosmetic meet strict requirements of four parameters : naturalness, of natural origin, organic, and of organic origin. Each of these parameters is rated from 0 to 1 and the true "naturalness" of a given brand's cosmetics is determined on this basis. THE POWER OF AYURVEDA Ayurveda is a scientific field originating from India. It involves maintaining harmony between body and spirit, and in Sanskrit means "science of life". The beginnings of Ayurveda date back to antiquity, and its main principles are used in modern medicine to this day. The main feature of Ayurvedic cosmetics is that they are based on carefully selected compositions of natural herbs. Ayurvedic cosmetics not only help us achieve beautiful skin, but are also perfect for aromatherapy. If you would like to try Ayurvedic cosmetics, but don't know where to start, we have a few suggestions for you. Be sure to try the Indian Ginseng Face Cream , which perfectly nourishes, regenerates and cares for the skin, and its main natural ingredient - Indian ginseng is known for its firming and rejuvenating properties . From body cosmetics based on Ayurveda, we recommend our oils, especially the Sandalwood and Turmeric Body Oil . Thanks to the mixture of natural ingredients , it has antiseptic properties, deeply moisturizes , and when used regularly after bathing, it makes the skin regain a natural, healthy glow. Orientana also has a special line of Ayurvedic hair cosmetics , such as shampoos and conditioners. You can try the soothing Ayurvedic Jasmine and Almond Hair Shampoo with its dedicated Ayurvedic Jasmine and Almond Hair Conditioner . This set will strengthen hair follicles, preventing hair loss , and additionally give hair a beautiful shine and make it easier to comb. NATURAL AND SKIN-FRIENDLY INGREDIENTS The best answer to the question: "why is it worth using natural cosmetics" is: "because they contain natural ingredients" ! These ingredients have no harmful properties for human skin: do not clog pores, they do not disturb the natural lipid barrier, do not cause irritation. That is why it is so important to check the composition of any cosmetic before reaching for it. Many drugstore cosmetics may contain toxic ingredients that may have harmful properties for the skin and even health. Orientana draws on Asian nature , which is why you can find many powerful ingredients in our cosmetics that you will not find in other creams available on the Polish market. Have you ever heard of kokum ? This exotic fruit grows in India and is rich in vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids . It improves skin elasticity, smoothes it and slows down the aging process. You will find it in the Oriental Rich Body Butter with Japanese Rose and Lychee , or in the Body Balm Cube with Jasmine and Green Tea . Among the numerous ingredients, Kali Musli is also worth mentioning. This is one of the oldest plants of Indian Ayurveda, growing in the shady forests of Asia. The root of Kali Musli has a positive effect on health, and especially helps in the treatment of skin diseases, cuts or wounds . Orientana has a whole series of cosmetics based on this beneficial plant. This series is recommended especially for sensitive skin , and it includes, among others , Kali Musli Day Face Cream , Kali Musli Night Face Treatment or Kali Musli Enzymatic Face Peeling. Natural ingredients do not have to be of plant origin. Orientana has a set of cosmetics containing snail slime , which is obtained in a way that does not harm snails. This ingredient is a rich source of collagen, elastin, glycolic acid, vitamins and natural antibiotics. It has excellent anti-aging, regenerative and even helps the skin fight acne. See for yourself its properties by reaching for our Natural Face Cream Snail Slime or Natural Eye Cream Snail Slime. LESS TOXIC INGREDIENTS Another good answer to the question of why it is worth using natural cosmetics is the fact that thanks to this we avoid all the toxic and chemical ingredients that are almost ubiquitous today. Natural cosmetics are made only from natural components, without the content of synthetic chemicals, and all additives, such as preservatives, which you sometimes find in their composition, are fully approved for use and safe for the skin. So what to avoid? SILICONES It is also worth avoiding creams that contain silicones. Their role is to smooth the skin and artificially fill wrinkles, but the effect they offer is short-lived and very superficial. Orientana replaces silicones with natural oils, vegetable butters and anti-aging ingredients , which are not only healthier, but also really regenerate the skin from the inside and out. If you are looking for a good and natural anti-wrinkle and lifting cream, be sure to check out our Natural Vegan Reishi Day Face Cream and Natural Vegan Reishi Night Face Cream for full effect. Both of these creams are based on Reishi, the so-called "longevity mushroom" , which is known for its wide use in cosmetics, and especially for its skin rejuvenating properties .

WHAT IS YOUR SKIN TYPE? WE DISCUSS SKIN TYPES AND THEIR SPECIFICITY!

MATURE SKIN Mature skin, contrary to what one might think, is not a skin type defined by age. Although it is most common in people over 45, it is sometimes found in young people as well. Mature skin is a skin type that is characterized by a visible loss of firmness, a large number of wrinkles, and a tendency to lose water. Cosmetics designed for the care of such skin focus primarily on its: hydration flexibility smoothing regeneration. ACNE SKIN Acne skin is the most problematic type of skin. It is characterized by a tendency to recurring skin changes (pimples, blackheads, etc.) and can therefore cause a lot of trouble. The key to acne skin care is the use of gentle, natural cosmetics with antibacterial properties, which soothe inflammation and regulate sebum secretion. It is also very important to constantly cleanse such skin, this will prevent clogging of the sebaceous glands and the formation of pimples. DRY SKIN Dry skin is very easy to recognize, because it is characterized by reduced sebum secretion. This makes it dry, rough, tense and dull, and additionally it quickly loses firmness and wrinkles become visible. Therefore, dry skin needs careful care aimed mainly at intensive moisturizing and preventing water loss through the epidermis and stimulating regenerative processes. A good moisturizing cream is a base, but it is also worth reaching for nourishing masks and hydro treatments. COMBINATION SKIN Combination skin is usually a combination of two skin types: oily and dry. This makes it quite a challenge when it comes to care, as it tends to become both excessively oily and dry, and as a result, it needs cosmetics with multi-faceted effects. The best choice for combination skin will therefore be natural cosmetics containing ingredients such as ginger, lemongrass or turmeric, including moisturizing creams, fine-grained peels and moisturizing-normalizing masks. OILY SKIN Oily skin is a skin type that can be recognized by an unnatural and unsightly shine to the face, its characteristic feature is also visible blackheads and enlarged pores. The best for the care of this type of skin are natural cosmetics normalizing the activity of sebaceous glands and reducing their sebum secretion. In addition, oily skin also requires regular and thorough cleansing of the face using enzymatic peels. SKIN WITH DISCOLORATIONS Skin with discolorations is characterized by uneven skin tone and the frequent appearance of unsightly spots on the face - this is the result of overproduction of pigment cells, which cause uneven distribution of pigment in the skin. Skin with discolorations is very problematic, but it can be dealt with using natural cosmetics with a high content of highly concentrated papaya extract. We especially recommend papaya face wash gel and papaya bio mask-essence - they regulate melanin production and effectively whiten discolorations. SENSITIVE SKIN Sensitive skin is prone to irritation – all it takes is the wrong cosmetic or a sudden change in temperature, and the skin immediately becomes red and chapped. This type of skin is difficult to care for, because it requires a lot of care and gentleness, but it can be tamed by using light, natural cosmetics with a high content of valuable nutrients. They will help minimize the tendency of sensitive skin to irritation and improve its overall condition.

HOW TO CHOOSE NATURAL COSMETICS FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

HOW TO DEAL WITH SENSITIVE SKIN? It is worth realizing that sensitive skin is a term that is outside the classification typical for the current division into dry, combination and oily skin. It can apply to any of these skin types. There are women who use a small amount of cosmetics, do not take special care of their skin, put on make-up in two minutes and yet their skin glows, is smooth and has a uniform color. We all know such lucky people. Unfortunately, there are also people for whom every change of cosmetic causes the appearance of pimples, inflammation, red spots or immediate dryness or even peeling of the epidermis on the face. Such situations appear from the beginning of the adventure with skin care or begin at a certain point. It is difficult to determine what specific factors may have an impact on this. At the beginning, you should definitely take care to exclude skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea or diagnosable allergies. If it turns out that skin hypersensitivity is not caused by any of the typical diseases, the only thing left is to select products by testing, trial and error. Using natural cosmetics may pose less risk to sensitive skin than using commonly available chemical cosmetics. ARE THERE INGREDIENTS THAT SHOULD BE ELIMINATED? Although there is a lot of talk about the harmfulness of chemical ingredients in cosmetics, those with sensitive skin still like to buy products that are labeled as suitable for their skin, but they do not read the ingredients. Ingredients such as: strong chemical preservatives, thickeners, PEGs, mineral oils, other petroleum derivatives, phthalates, synthetic flavors, formaldehyde can definitely increase the risk of skin hypersensitivity reactions. Such substances are not recommended for children's skin or pregnant women, and allergic reactions can even occur on healthy and resistant skin, so in the case of sensitive skin, this is very likely. When buying natural cosmetics, we have a guarantee that the listed ingredients should not be present in them. However, you should always read the full composition of the product. WHICH COSMETICS CAN CAUSE HYPERSENSITIVITY? It is unlikely that natural cosmetics will cause skin hypersensitivity. However, considering the common allergies of today, even food or inhalant, which concern natural products such as: honey, nuts, carrot, grass pollen, birch pollen. You need to keep this in mind when choosing natural cosmetics for sensitive skin. However, it is worth realizing that what someone is allergic to in food does not have to be allergic in a face cream, and besides, such an allergy stops after discontinuing the use of a given ingredient. However, it can be said with certainty that the ingredients of conventional drugstore cosmetics such as: chemical preservatives, fragrances, dyes, detergents will contribute to the occurrence of sensitive skin. Skin constantly bombarded with such irritants will not be able to defend itself effectively and the protective skin barrier will eventually be defeated. From that moment on, various types of hypersensitivity reactions will begin and then discontinuing one cosmetic with an allergenic ingredient will no longer help, but the skin will have to be rebuilt. Therefore, it is worth using natural cosmetics in everyday care, even if the skin is not sensitive. WHAT FACTORS HELP REDUCE SKIN HYPERSENSITIVITY? proper care with natural cosmetics diet – rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, avoiding preservatives and highly processed products, sweets, fast food and ready meals proper hydration of the body – preferably with water, also boiled, herbal teas, avoiding carbonated drinks, coffee and black tea limiting exposure to sunlight, strong wind and frost clean air without exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke and smog - difficult-to-avoid pollution can be eliminated by using appropriate creams that create a barrier on the skin that prevents particles from penetrating an adequate amount of sleep per day avoiding stress when bathing or showering, the right water temperature – too hot causes the skin to dry out IS IT POSSIBLE TO PERFORM GENTLE BUT EFFECTIVE MAKE-UP REMOVAL AND CLEANSING OF SENSITIVE SKIN? Remnants of makeup, excess sebum and impurities can be effectively and gently removed using the power of plants, whose extracts, essences and oils are found in natural cosmetics. In order not to irritate the skin, it is worth choosing natural cosmetics for makeup removal, which will provide gentle treatment for sensitive skin, but at the same time will be able to dissolve makeup residues so that they can be easily removed without rubbing the skin hard with a cotton pad. These will definitely be natural cosmetics based on oils. FOR INDEPENDENT PREPARATION: Makeup remover oil Ingredients: Grape seed oil 45g Glyceryl cocoate 5g A few drops of original rose oil Small dark glass bottle Execution: Pour the ingredients carefully into the bottle and shake several times to combine them well. CAN YOU MAKE A PEELING FOR SENSITIVE SKIN AT HOME? Irritated and reddened skin can cause a lot of trouble when it comes to choosing even natural cosmetics that will effectively remove dead skin cells and even out the skin. You definitely can't use a scrub more often than once a week. If the scrub is to contain abrasive particles, they should be of the highest quality and natural origin. It's good if, in addition to the particles, the scrub also contains plant extracts and oils that will care for sensitive skin and make it smooth and moisturized after use, not tight, dry and susceptible to damage. Many natural cosmetics can be prepared in the comfort of your home. In the case of sensitive skin, it is important to choose an ingredient that will be good for a given person and will not irritate. Recipe for a universal cleansing mask for sensitive skin Ingredients: 1 tablespoon finely ground oat flakes 1 tablespoon almond flour half a medium-sized banana half a tablespoon of vegetable glycerin 1 small spoon of jojoba oil 10 drops of liquid vitamin E Preparation: All ingredients should be blended into a smooth paste. The finished mask should be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 5 days. Facial toners can also be used as natural cosmetics that gently remove dead skin. Simply massage the skin with a delicate washcloth soaked in a properly selected preparation. CAN TONIC HELP? Toners will soothe irritations, moisturize the skin and remove residues left after make-up removal. It is worth remembering that many drugstore toners or hydrolates contain alcohol or other substances that are not conducive to the care of sensitive skin. It is worth buying such natural cosmetics that have really good recipes. For example, the excellent Japanese Rose and Pandan Toner will have a soothing effect on the skin. You can also prepare a soothing toner yourself, but it will require a little effort. Ingredients: half a glass of scented geranium flower water 4 tablespoons dried chamomile florets 4 tablespoons of organic aloe vera gel 4 tablespoons of vodka 40 drops of Roman chamomile oil 16 drops of geranium oil Preparation: The flower water should be slowly brought to a boil in a small pot. Then the pot should be removed from the heat, the chamomile baskets should be placed in it, covered with a lid and left to cool. The mixture, cooled to room temperature, should be strained and poured into a sterilized dark glass bottle. The remaining ingredients should be added to the bottle and shaken until all the components have combined. The tonic is best stored in a dark and cool place and used within 50 days. WILL NATURAL COSMETICS PROTECT AND MOISTURIZE SENSITIVE SKIN? People with sensitive skin often want to get it back in good condition as quickly as possible and expect immediate results from natural cosmetics. Such a quick smoothing effect can be provided by substances that temporarily smooth the skin's surface or soothe redness, but after washing them off, the problem will return with double the force. Therefore, it is better to choose natural cosmetics, whose ingredients may be slower, but will effectively rebuild the skin's natural protective functions and allow it to regenerate enough for the symptoms of hypersensitivity to pass. It is worth choosing natural cosmetics whose composition we will personally check and, in addition to the manufacturer's declaration on the packaging that the product is good for sensitive skin, in the detailed INCI composition we will find the desired ingredients and we will not find dyes, artificial preservatives and fragrances as well as strongly foaming detergents. Ingredients that will be good for sensitive skin care in natural cosmetics include: butter, oils, honey, milk, vitamin E, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, The latter ingredient can be found in a small number of cosmetics due to the very high cost of obtaining the raw material (saffron is the most expensive spice in the world!) and the need to properly compose a recipe for natural cosmetics. For sensitive skin, the Rich Cream with Saffron Kumkumadi and Hydrotherapy with Saffron Kumkumadi, which soothe redness and help rebuild skin protection, are ideal. It is always beneficial to first try a cream from a sample or tester, although a hypersensitivity reaction may only appear after using the cosmetic on the whole face. As mentioned, it is better to use natural cosmetics, in which the risk will be much lower. Exceptionally thin and delicate sensitive skin needs rescue in the form of modern natural cosmetics, which are not only rich in nourishing ingredients, but are also produced taking into account the latest scientific research, which supports the comfort of users. In home care with natural cosmetics, you can try to prepare a healing cream-ointment, which will help save the complexion in extreme cases. Ingredients: 4 tablespoons of olive oil with marigold 4 tablespoons of castor oil 4 teaspoons of crushed beeswax 2 teaspoons of liquid vitamin E 10 drops of carrot seed oil 10 drops of helichrysum oil Preparation: Olive oil, oil and beeswax should be poured into a glass container and heated in a water bath until the wax is completely dissolved and a uniform consistency is achieved. Vitamin E and carrot and helichrysum oils should be mixed separately and the resulting liquid should be quickly poured into the hot mixture prepared earlier. After thoroughly mixing the ingredients, you need to wait for the ointment to cool down. If we see that the skin is starting to react with hypersensitivity, we should act immediately. It is worth putting aside popular drugstore cosmetics and taking an interest in natural cosmetics , which will be the best solution and a guarantee that the skin will be able to regenerate quickly and similar problems will not occur in the future.

WHICH NATURAL COSMETICS ARE BEST FOR DRY SKIN

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF DRY SKIN Dry skin should be moisturized not only with cosmetics, but also from the inside, it is very important to drink large amounts of water. Dry skin requires special care because it is also delicate and very susceptible to wrinkles and sagging. Dry skin simply ages faster. It does not like too many treatments that irritate it and discipline it to work properly. It also reacts very strongly to chemicals in cosmetics. Therefore, the best solution for it will be natural cosmetics . Recognizing dry skin is not too difficult. It is characterized by a gray color, roughness to the touch, as well as periodic exfoliation and often visible blood vessels. Dry skin produces less sebum - a lubricating substance, rich in lipids thanks to which the skin maintains a good level of moisture. In other words, "fat" helps the skin retain water. Dry skin very rarely has a genetic basis. It is usually dry due to improper care and the use of too many detergents and surface chemicals for care, which is why it is important for people with this skin to switch to natural cosmetics in their care. Dry skin also often appears during menopause, which is the result of reduced activity of the sebaceous glands. Our skin dries out quickly in the winter, when we stay in rooms heated by central heating. The humidity in such rooms drops by half then, not without reason our grandmothers put special containers with water on radiators, which were intended to humidify the air in the apartment. Air conditioning also has a very negative effect on our skin, causing it to dry out periodically. Offices and work spaces are usually air-conditioned. On dry and hot days, it is worth having natural tonics at hand during work, whether it is Jasmine and Green Tea, or Japanese Rose and Pandan. Thanks to the atomizer, they are easy to use and it is worth spraying your face with them from time to time. There is no need to worry about your makeup, as a light mist will give it a light and natural look without compromising its durability. DRY SKIN – WHICH INGREDIENTS IN COSMETICS TO AVOID AND WHICH TO CHOOSE In cosmetics, avoid alcohol and irritants, and focus on moisturizing ingredients. Oily skin will not lose water. When washing your face, do not use regular soap, and treat gel soap as forbidden. They usually contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate - cheap, but very irritating detergents. You should also not wash your face with chlorinated water. It is best to use boiled water. Chlorine irritates and dries the skin very much. Also, avoid regular moisturizing creams. Standard ones are not sufficient for dry skin, and additionally they usually contain paraffin, which will effectively block the skin. In dry skin care, avoid retinoids, they are too aggressive for such delicate skin and can irritate it. Do not decide to use salicylic acid on your own. It may turn out to be very inappropriate for thin skin. Dry skin is very demanding and very reactive to chemical ingredients. Those with such skin should only use natural cosmetics. They offer a wealth of active ingredients that, while having a repairing or strongly moisturizing effect, will not negatively affect the natural functions of the skin in any way. The most effective ones include: Snail slime Ginseng – Korean Ginseng Ashwagandha Saffron Papaya Japanese rose Dry skin requires good lubrication, which will replenish the lack of lipids in the skin. Lubrication is key here, because only a lubricated epidermis will stop the release of moisture from the skin and its drying. We should use moisturizing cosmetics at night. Let's switch to moisturizing natural cosmetics created on the basis of oils and butters. They have a light consistency and can be used during the day, but they also have a moisturizing effect recommended for dry skin. It is worth reaching for a face oil and rich creams based on butters and vegetable oils. A very good method of moisturizing dry skin is to use the Natural Silk Face Mask Ginkgo Biloba and Aloe or Snail Slime, they are especially suitable for dry, mature skin because they fight the lack of skin elasticity and wrinkles. People with younger but dry skin can also use these sheet masks. Let's not forget about proper cleansing of dry skin - we remove makeup with oil, and once a week we use a peeling. It is best to use a peeling based on lubricants such as shea butter. Deeper cleansing is possible with a clay mask dedicated specifically for dry skin, preferably mixed with oils, such as the Natural Almond and Saffron Clay Mask. Then we will not dry out the skin, which can happen with clay mixed with water. In the summer, natural cosmetics necessary for the care of dry skin are tonics and mists. You can also use thermal water in a spray, but it is worth choosing Orientana tonics because they are full of plant extracts and additionally strengthen the skin. Dry skin will also benefit from an oil massage once a week.
